Suzanne graduated from The University of Wales, Aberystwyth with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Microbiology and a Masters of Research in plant Physiology, adaptation and productivity. She went on to complete a PhD in Ecophysiology, quality improvement and mass production of fungal biological control agents in 2000 at Cranfield University. Suzanne worked as a Research Scientist at the Open University in the Planetary Science and Space Research Institute for 5 years before joining the Tree Health section at Forest Research in 2010.
