What was the event?
A respected panel of experts provided presentations and stimulated discussion to examine the opportunities for trees, woodlands and forests in green spaces with links to rural and urban environment. There was also an update on tree pests and diseases.
Presentations by Forest Research scientists included:
- Dr Keiron Doick - Green infrastructure: the benefits of trees and woodlands
- Dr Kevin Watts – Explanation of the role of green networks
- Dr Anna Brown – Update on tree pests and disease affecting woodland in Britain.
Who was the event suitable for?
Non-members for the morning meeting and lunch, ICF members for the AGM .
