What is UKCP09?

The name refers to the most recent UK climate projections published in June 2009 by the United Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) and Defra. The projections include very new probability estimates of the likelihood of certain changes in the climate happening by a certain decade.

Within the interface users can easily develop maps and graphs showing the degree of change likely in different parts of the UK. Graphic information about climatic variables such as rainfall and temperature can be easily assembled for months, seasons, years, and for different decades into the century.
