What was the event?
A single day seminar where Forest Research pathologists and entomologists updated the sector on the latest information about pests and diseases.
The programme included:
- Climate change and what effect that will have on pests and diseases
- Topical root rots
- Needle diseases of pine
- Insect updates
- Oak dieback
- General surgery – bring your pests and diseases for the experts to provide advice.
There was another Forest Health Day seminar in Talybont on Usk on 4th September 2008.
