Printing pages in full colour

To ensure that pages from this website are printed in colour exactly as they appear on the screen you need to set up your browser to print background colours. If not set up, then background colours of table cells for example, will not be printed. 

The way you enable this option differs depending upon which browser you're using.

The information below is based on recent versions of the browsers. If you're using an older version, the printing background colors and images option may not be in exactly the same location. Check your browser's Help Information for assistance, if needed.

Internet Explorer

  1. Select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab
  2. Under Settings, scroll down to the Printing category
  3. Select Print background colors and images
  4. Click OK.

Firefox

  1. Select File > Page Setup > Format & Options tab
  2. Under Options, select Print background (colors & images)
  3. Click OK.

Safari

(Probably set correctly by default but you might want to check).

  1. Select File > Print
  2. On the Copies & Pages pop-up menu, click Safari
  3. Select Print Backgrounds
  4. Click OK.

Netscape

  1. Select File > Page Setup > Format & Options tab
  2. Under Options, select Print background (colors & images)
  3. Click OK.

Opera

(Probably set correctly by default but you might want to check).

  1. Select File > Print options
  2. Select Print page backgrounds
  3. Click OK.

Tip: Disable the background colors and images option when you're finished printing if you don't want to end up with full color versions of all web pages you print.
