Joined Forest Research in 1979. Originally employed by Genetics Branch and then Tree Improvement Branch, she is now responsible for the management of conifer seed and pollen with Forest Management Division.

Current role

Scientific Officer Support Post, Forest Management Division

• Handling, storage and database maintenance of all conifer pollen and seed for breeding programmes and commercial Family Mixtures
• Forest Reproductive Materials Regulations (FRM)
  National Register of Approved Basic Material for Great Britain - database maintenance (registered seed stands, seed orchards).
