EU Framework projects in which Forest Research is involved

About FP7 and 'Horizon 2020'

FP7 logo

FP7 is the short name for the EU's current main research funding programme, 'The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development', which helps the EU's research base to stimulate a dynamic, competitive knowledge-based economy and improve its citizens' quality of life.

Horison 2020 logo

After 2013, 'Horizon 2020 - the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation' will replace the current Framework Programme, integrating it with the EU's Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Horizon 2020 will emphasis the need to turn innovative ideas into products and services that create growth and jobs.
