Dr Anna Brown graduated from the University of Wales, Bangor in 1998 with a BSc (Hons) in Forestry. She joined the Tree Health section of Forest Research in 1998, obtaining a PhD in 2001 in collaboration with Imperial College studying the potential of bluestain fungi as biocontrol agents of decay fungi. In October 2001 she worked as a scientific officer in the silviculture branch, returning a year later to the Tree Health section.

Current role
