Phillip joined Forest Research in September 2006. Previously, he studied for a BSc (Hons) in Physical Geography at the University of Wales Aberystwyth and an MSc in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling and Management from King’s College, London.

Developing and supporting GIS based tools for evaluating biodiversity in fragmented landscapes, and application of theses tools in support of various research programmes.
