The Woodfuel Supply Chain - Sharing experience
14th to 19th September 2008 What is the event?This workshop will present shared experience of the development of the woodfuel supply chain in England and elsewhere, problems overcome, milestones achieved and hurdles yet to be overcome. It will provide an opportunity to exchange information and discuss sustainable management, production and use of forest biomass for energy as an integral part of resource management for multiple benefits. As part of the conference a field tour will be held to see examples of operational biomass production in England. The conclusion of the event will feature an industry consultation event and a chance to visit the leading forestry show in Great Britain, the 2008 APF demonstration. Scientific and technical papers and posters addressing any of the workshop topics are invited. Please email titles, authors, authors’ affiliations and abstracts (500 words maximum) by 31 March 2008 to Oana Popescu, Task 31 Secretary (opopescu@tamu.edu).
