Nick Evans
Crop Surveyor and Cost Centre Manager, Technical Services UnitNick joined the Forestry Commission in 1974 working as a harvesting operator before joining Sherwood forest as foreman in 1981. During this time he completed City & Guilds in forestry at Newton Rigg and Inverness college. From Sherwood he moved to Suffolk Forest District as a forest management, private woodlands, nursery, and plant health forester. He has worked within a forest survey environment for the last 19 years, originally in Forest Surveys branch and latterly as part of Forest Research.
