Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) 2nd Symposium on Urban Forestry, COST E39 2nd Research Conference

What was the event?
This international conference was based on two ongoing research networking activities: one is ASEM Urban Forestry Symposium, which aims at promoting urban forestry research and cooperation among ASEM countries; the other is COST Action E39 “Forests, Trees, and Human Health and Well-being”, which has an interest in health aspects of forest and tree resources.
The conference aimed to identify promising approaches and developments of forestry to serve health aspects of urban societies and sustainable urban development.

Who was the event suitable for?
Researchers, planners, policy makers and managers that have an interest to explore the relationships between urban forests and human health. The theme is particularly relevant to the fields of forestry, planning sciences, and landscape architecture, social sciences, natural resource management and ecology related.
