Shona Cameron
Inventory Data Officer, Biometrics, Surveys and Statistics DivisionShona Cameron joined the Forestry Commission in 1990 as an Administrative Officer in the North Scotland Regional Office. The first section she worked in was Private Woodlands where she dealt with Woodland Grant Scheme and Farm Woodland Scheme applications, the processing of grant payments and felling license applications. She then moved to the Estates Department for 6 years mainly working on land and house disposals, housing tenancies and shooting leases. In 1997 she moved to Fort Augustus Forest District Office where she was responsible for the payroll, finance and personnel. After a year in Fort Augustus Forest District she moved to Edinburgh and joined Forest Research in 1998 to work on the National Inventory of Woodland and Trees.
