Lorraine Adams, BSc
Environmental Analyst, Environmental and Human Sciences DivisionLorraine Adams joined Forest Research in 2000, where she has since specialised in chemical analysis of environmental samples. She gained BSc (Hons) Biochemistry with Industrial Experience at Manchester University in 1998. Current roleEnvironmental Analyst, Environmental and Human Sciences Division - Analysing forest samples for a number of research areas including the Environmental Change Network, water quality in the soil, climate change and stream quality.
- Updating lab procedures in preparation for achieving ISO17025 for the Chemical Laboratory within the Environmental and Human Sciences Division.
- Managing the LIMS database maintaining customer and sample details and results.
Affiliations and achievements- Speciality training in Potentiometric methods of analysis, Ion chromatography and HPLC
- Member of the Chromatographic Society.
