Diseases and decay in trees – implications for hazard assessment

What was the event?

The workshop explore dthe processes of disease and decay and how these impact on Hazard Tree Assessments. It was e a mixture of presentations and field exercises. Sessions were included on significant diseases and decay fungi with case histories of tree failures some of which have resulted in Court action.

Who was the event suitable for?

Only open to employees (e.g. Arboricultural Consultants) of O’Callaghan Associates (OCA) Ltd.

An open workshop could be held next year if there was sufficient interest from others.
