Andy Hall
Head of Technical Development, Forest Management DivisionAndy Hall joined Forest Research for a second period in 2001, and specialises in method and work-study related issues. Andy studied forestry at Newton Rigg College of Agriculture and Forestry from 1979 to 1982. He became Head of Technical Developnet in September 2005. Current roleHead of Technical Development, part of the Forest Management Division. Current programmesWoodfuel Project Leader - all aspects of fuel wood production, and undertaking outreach seminars/workshops throughout UK. Small-scale harvesting systems Project leader - method and system development issues, and undertaking outreach seminars/workshops throughout UK. Direct seeding, broadleaf and conifer Project Leader - method and system development issues. Affiliations and achievements- Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters.
