Institute of Chartered Foresters – 2004 National Study Tour
5th to 7th September 2004
What was the event?
The Institute of Chartered Foresters’ 2004 Study Tour was based in Scotland’s first National Park – Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The theme of the programme was the ecological restoration of woodlands and forests. Leading practitioners and researchers presented practical examples of restoration, ranging from small-scale site restoration of PAWS, native woodland and non-woodland habitats, to the landscape scale projects on East Loch Lomond and the Woodland Trust’s Glen Finglas Estate.
Forest Research speakers gave presentations on PAWS Restoration and Forest Habitat Networks.
