COST Actions in which Forest Research is involved

About COST

COST is an inter-governmental framework for European Co-operation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research, that supplements the Framework Programme by enabling nationally funded basic and pre-competitive research to be co-ordinated through topic/sector specific committees.  'Forests, their products and services' is the COST Domain dedicated to scientific debate on the sustainable provision of forest products and their services, such as climate regulation, bioenergy, carbon, water and soil protection, recreation and public health.

COST Actions encourage Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) to take advantage of Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs)  to provide collaboration within and between COST countries.
