Forest Research's nationwide capability

Our main office and laboratory bases are in Surrey and Edinburgh. Our Welsh office is located at Talybont-on-Usk.

These centres are supported by a nationwide network of surveyors and field stations. This gives Forest Research the capacity to conduct research on a GB basis.

Our surveying teams maintain the National Inventory of Woodlands and Tees and can arrange surveys at any scale throughout Britain.

Technical development and field station staff can also set up and monitor programmes throughout the UK.
