All work is covered by legal contracts with the funder(s).  Contracts are normally won by open competition in response to open calls for tenders, but if you wish to commission work directly, we will be pleased to discuss your needs.

Research for the Forestry Commission

Our core work for the Forestry Commission supports the forestry strategies for England, Scotland and Wales. To ensure the integration of forestry with other land uses, this work involves partnerships across several sectors, at both national and regional levels.

Forestry Commission's Science and Innovation Strategy ^(PDF-2860K) sets out how Forestry Commission funded research programmes are determined and how they are linked to forestry strategies and the wider policy objectives of UK Government and the devolved administrations.
