Library and technical information service

 

The Forestry Commission’s Library is located at the Forest Research Station, Alice Holt Lodge.

It provides a comprehensive scientific and technical information service for those interested in trees and forestry in Great Britain.

• We provide a photocopy and loan service to individuals and organisations working with or for the Forestry Commission.
   
• We lend books to other libraries through the British Library Inter-Library Loan Scheme and there is a reciprocal arrangement with other Government departments or agencies for photocopies or loans.
   
• The Library is open to everyone, by appointment, as a personal visitor to study, read and photocopy.
