Volunteering in Sherwood Pines

Whether you want to help and dig in for mountain biking, bring a corporate team to do something different or help out making the trench recreation even more real then Sherwood Pines is the place for you.

Dig Days

Do you regularly ride our bike trails? Would you like to learn trail building skills and help the team deliver trails for all abilities?

If so, come and help out at our dig days.

Corporate Task Days

Looking for a unique experience for your team? Let the Forestry Commission show you something completely different!

Trenches

2014 marks 100 years since the start of the First World War and throughout the centenary we’ll be working on a commemorative project to honour the lives of those who served in and were affected by the war.

Practical Conservation

There is no regular group working in Sherwood Pines but both Positive Action and Woodland Workout groups can be found in Sherwood Pines at some point in the year.  Both groups are based in North Nottinghamshire and would be very happy to have you join in.
