Day Three: Green Woodworking

Bushcraft - whittling

You’ll spend today learning traditional green woodworking skills. Learn about the properties of working with green wood and how to use to a range of traditional woodworking tools such as knives, a froe, a shave horse and draw knives.

By the end of the day you should have your own tent peg, mallet, peg board, egg cup and spatula to take away.

In the evening you will have to work as a team to light the fire, cut the firewood and prepare and cook your dinner before relaxing around the campfire.
