Meet the Wardens

Along with their support staff, Graeme and Susan Wardle are on hand to make your stay a success.

As well as being outdoor nuts for decades, they both have professional outdoor experience and can offer a wealth of advice and support to make your stay a memorable one for your young people.

Graeme - APIOL (Accredited Practitioner of the Institute of Outdoor Learning)has a wealth of experience in the outdoor industry.  Independently AALA licensed and ML, SPA, K2, MbL2, GNAS (archery) leader. Level3(ncfe), Bushcraft Leader and qualified college lecturer, Graeme's real skills lie in communicating with the more challenging and teaching others to do so.  In recent years, his lifelong interest in Bushcraft has become a regular tool used in his arsenal of techniques to engage the unengageable.

Sue - A level 3 Forest School Practitioner and experienced secondary school educator still can't believe she lives with the above nutter in the wonderful surroundings of Biblins.  While managing the bulk of the admin and domestic work, Sue's experience in outdoor learning makes for the perfect complement and support.

England's Woods and Forests are cared for by Forest Enterprise England, an agency of the Forestry Commission.
