Wilderness Survival Skills - Fire lighting in difficult conditions
Central to survival; fire warms, dries, makes water safe, cooks food, lifts morale. It is possible to light a fire even in wet conditions. Learn this key survival skill with bushcraft expert Bruce Ferguson. Bring water-proof clothing and sturdy footwear.
Wilderness Survival Skills - Shelter
Learn the importance of shelter in a survival situation. Make a debris shelter and learn a few useful knots and put up a tarp shelter. Wear clothes you would do the garden in including waterproofs, strong footwear and midge repellent.
Wilderness Survival Skills – Bush tucker; food from the wild
Good grub - green or wriggling! Not for the squeamish but you won’t have to eat anything you don’t want to. Bring waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
