Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club
Local MTB enthusiasts set up the Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club in 2006 in order to accommodate the views and ideas of regular visitors and to ensure the successful evolution of the cycle trails. The club has a growing membership of all ages and abilities, so whether you are a serious mountain biker or just like to take it easy we think there’s something for everyone.
Membership benefits include an annual vehicle admission pass, free showers and bike-wash, as well as discounts in the Bedgebury bike shop run by Quench Cycles and the Bedgebury Cafe.
There are also regular activities which include ladies rides, night-rides, a junior club, coaching, and social events. It also has a monthly meeting at the Bedgebury’s Visitor Centre which any member wishing to get involved is very welcome to join.
The club is affiliated to British Cycling, ensuring that Bedgebury will be able to host BC approved events.
Membership and vehicle admission fees paid to Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club go exclusively into trail development and maintenance, so by becoming a member and paying the annual unlimited vehicle admission fee to the club you will be contributing to a better trail centre.
Working with the Forestry Commission, the bike club also plays a major part in Bedgebury's MTB trail development, with members assisting with trail maintenance, waymarking, extension and re-routing of the singletrack. The volunteer group meets on the second saturday of every month and new members are always welcome!
