Autumn Amble
Spend the morning with two of the FCs Volunteer Rangers on an autumnal walk as part of this year’s Walking Festival. Savour the colours, sights and sounds of the forest at this special time of the year. Join us after the event for an optional visit to a local forest pub.
Autumn Through a Lens
A 5 mile walk led by one of the Forestry Commission Voluntary Rangers with time to photograph the beautiful Autumn colours of the New Forest.
Awesome Autumn
A whole week of activities for children, during the Autumn half term, at Bolderwood. Trails and ‘makes’ and a chance to find out more about Autumn wildlife with the Rangers.
Rock Up and Explore
Bring the family and join a Volunteer Ranger on a short guided walk and learn about the New Forest and what makes it so special.
Stick Man Trail
Join Stick Man on his quest to the family tree! Pick up an activity pack from the Information Unit, follow the trail and complete fun activities along the way!
The New Forest - A Commoner's View
Enjoy a three hour guided walk with one of the FC’s Volunteer Rangers and learn about Commoning, habitats, deer, history and have a bit of fun with pooh sticks!
Wild Wednesday
Enjoy a date with nature at the Reptile Centre, with fun activities for the whole family. Quiz trail and ‘making’ activities for children. Come and see the ‘live’ bird on the nest and the reptiles and amphibians.
