Events at Haldon

Haldon Forest Park hosts a wide range of exciting events and activities. There is lots going on...

Stick Man Trail

Try our Stick Man Trail at Haldon Forest Park. Activity Packs are available from the Ranger's Office for £3. The trail is about half a mile in length (perfect for little legs) and set around the Go Ape/Bullers Hill area. The trail is signposted from the car park.

Organising an Event

If you are thinking about holding any kind of organised group event on Forestry Commission land you need to contact us so we can ensure you have a safe and sucessful event.

Once your application form has been received we will assess the impact of your event and we'll then be able to advise whether you need a formal permission or not.

E-mail your completed application form or send to West England Forest District, Permissions, Forestry Commission, Bank House, Bank Street, Coleford, Glos, GL16 8BA.

If your event is small and doesn’t require formal permission there won’t be any charge. For larger events we charge to cover the administration costs associated with granting permission and to generate income to reinvest into our forests and facilities.
