Forest School sessions (Foundation stage to Key stage 4)

Looking for minibeasts at Forest School

Sessions led by our Forest School Leader :-

A six week programme consisting of a 2 hour session each week. Total cost - £150 per session, which includes the site entry fees. Maximum number of participants and activities specific to relevant key stage will be discussed when booking.

Forest school is an inspirational process that offers children, young people and adults, regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self esteem through hands on learning experiences in a local woodland environment. These sessions are run by our Forest School Leader who holds the level 3 OCN Forest School Practioner qualification.

Activites such as shelter building, fire lighting and campfire cooking, working with tools, minibeast hunting all offer the opportunity to take risks, make choices and inititate learning for themselves.

Sessions led by your own Forest School leader :-

Collecting materials to build mini-shelters at Forest SchoolA specialist permission can be obtained for schools/ groups wishing to run their own Forest School sessions at High Lodge. Applicants must be qualified Forest School Leaders. The charge of £200 allows you to carry out the activities in a specified area, Exceptional Site Entry permits for two vehicles and access to other site facilities e.g. toilets and first aid provision by the Duty Ranger.

 

Are you training to become a Level 3 Forest School leader?

We can provide a qualified level 3 Forest School leader to support you in completing your pracrical sessions. Cost: £75 per session. Dependant on location an additional travel charge may be added.
