Driving at Work

The Forestry Commission as an employer has a duty, under Health and Safety law, to have in place safe systems of work and to manage risks properly. The Forestry Commission recognise that there are sound business and moral reasons for managing driving at work and also that good driving can be a benefit to the environment.

This booklet sets out the Forestry Commission’s Health and Safety Policy in relation to driving and details the responsibilities for both drivers and managers.
