RECREATION AND MOUNTAIN BIKE RANGER
Ae Forest District
£20,461 plus benefits   

You’ll maintain and develop the Forest District’s mountain bike and wider recreation potential, support health and well-being programs and increase public awareness of the benefits of Forestry.

Ranger skills or experience working in countryside management and previous experience of organising interpretative & educational activities is desirable. As is a track record of working with communities.

Ideally you will have Trail Cycle leader or Mountain Bike Leader qualifications and be an experienced red grade rider. Familiarity with equipment used in the construction of trails would be advantageous.

IT competency, particularly in the use of Microsoft applications and GIS is desirable.

The duties of this post require that applicants hold a full driving licence.
