Sculptree 2008
Monday 18th August to Monday 25th AugustSculptree remains the most creative and artistically significant large scale wood carving event of its kind. Twelve of the world's most talented wood carvers demonstrated their art over a full seven days in front of a crowd of thousands. The unique event allowed everyone to see first hand how these incredible works of art are made. The public auction on the Bank Holiday Monday enabled some to have a chance to own one of these original creations. Money raised from the sale goes to Tree Aid to support their conservation efforts globally.
