EWGS 2008-09 Budget Management Announcement

As part of the process for settling 2008/09 budgets with Defra, the Forestry Commission has agreed to defer £1.75m of expenditure on EWGS (which is funded as part of the seven-year Rural Development Programme for England) planned for 2008-09 to later years of the programme. As a result we are unable to offer 2008-09 payments to a small proportion of the applications for EWGS under Prospectus 2007.
