The Forestry Commission is a lead partner in a Cumbrian based project which aims to deliver a working example of the Forestry Commissions' Woodfuel Strategy for England (4Mb PDF)

Cumbria Woodlands are delivering the project which involves a partnership between Cumbria Vision, Friends of the Lake District, LDNPA and Bassenthwaite Reflections. The project aims to direct support to developing supply chains as well as providing impartial guidance to those who are contemplating using wood as a renewable source of energy.
