Events

 

Throughout the year our Recreation and Education teams at Delamere, Grizedale and Whinlatter organise many exciting events. These are aimed at all ages and cover a wide variety of subjects, activities and settings. All are lead by our ranger staff or other qualified people.

In addition to organising our own events North West England Forest District plays host to many other events and activities from international motor rallying to music concerts, from Osprey watching to the Giants of Grizedale.

With major redevelopment work at Whinlatter and Grizedale during 2008 our events programme has been reduced but we will soon be publishing our events listings here.

Each year Delamere hosts a series of Live Music events and 2008 is promising to be the best ever with acts like James Morrison, The Zutons and KT Tunstall.
