Forestry Statistics 2008 provides the most up-to-date statistics on timber and trade and includes information on the sources and methodology used to produce the figures.

Forestry Facts & Figures provides a brief summary of these results.  A Welsh language version of Forestry Facts & Figures is also available.

Early provisional results are provided in the First Release UK Wood Production and Trade (provisional figures), published in May.

The statistics on timber and trade are also used to compile the UK’s Joint Forest Sector Questionnaire (JFSQ) and UNECE Timber Committee (TC) returns for international organisations.
