Her debut album, 2004’s appropriately titled 'Premiere', was the fastest selling of all time by a Mezzo Soprano, with well over 30,000 copies snapped up in the first week. She is the only singer in musical history to simultaneously hold the Number 1, 2, 3 and 4 position in the classical album charts, which she achieved with 'Premiere', 'Second Nature', 'Living the Dream' and 'Serenade’ in 2007. 'Serenade' also went to Number 5 in the pop charts and has sold over a half a million copies to date. Katherine's new album ‘Rejoice’ is released this week. Classical / pop crossover act, Blake, has been announced as special guest at Katherine Jenkins forest tour dates this summer. The classically trained foursome's debut album 'B lake' was released in November 07 and immediately went to Number 1 in the UK Classical Album Chart and Top 20 in the UK pop album chart. Blake will be performing their own set accompanied by The National Symphony Orchestra and will also be joining Katherine on stage for part of her performance. The concerts will be supporting The Forestry Commission’s valuable social and environmental programmes.
