In 2007 Westonbirt - The National Arboretum was pleased to present: Travis - Friday 29 June 2007
Following selling out in record time for their March dates in London, Glasgow and Warrington, Travis played a full UK tour with five forest shows in June as part of their summer touring schedule. Following excellent performances from special guests Myles from Juno Falls and The Hours, Fran, Andy, Douggie and Neil made an amazing entry to the arena as they ran through the surprised crowd dressed as boxers to the unmistakable sounds of the Rocky theme tune. Travis took to the stage at Westonbirt Arboretum on a fine night in June to perform both old favourites including the for-once-inappropriate 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?' as well as songs from their new album 'The Boy with No Name'.
The Feeling - Saturday 30 June 2007
Brit Award nominees for Best British Single, The Feeling played a three special forest shows as part of the 2007 Forest Tour. Seven thousand people filled the arena at Westonbirt Arboretum as special guests Ghosts took to the stage to play an amazing set. The rain showers did nothing to dampen the crowd's enthusiasm as The Feeling then proceeded to entertain with now classic songs including 'I Love it When You Call.'
James Morrison - Sunday 1 July 2007
Hours after performing at the Diana Memorial concert in London, Britt Award winner James Morrison flew in by helicopter to Westonbirt Arboretum to perfom one of five forest shows in 2007. Earlier showers once again made wellies the fashon item of the day but the rain stayed away as the crowd were entranced by Morrison's soulful voice.

Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra have become established as one of the most prolific touring acts in the UK creating their own unique big band sound playing a mix of boogie-woogie, swing, jazz and R&B. They now play an average of 100 live shows a year, touring Britain and the world to audiences in excess of 500,000. Sadly this concert was cancelled due to high rainfall received at Westonbirt Arboretum. We hope to welcome Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra back to Westonbirt on a future occassion.
The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra with Natasha Marsh and Nicky Spence, with firework display - Saturday 21 July 2007
After 2006 saw a fabulous performance to a capacity crowd, The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra returned to Westonbirt Arboretum on Saturday 21 July 2007. The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra delighted the audience with a traditional 'Last Night of the Proms' programme under the baton of Gareth Hudson with solo performances from soprana Natasha Marsh and tenor Nicky Spence. The evening cumulated in an amazing firework finale to two choruses of 'Land and Hope and Glory' followed by an inspired oncore of the 'Dambusters' theme.
M People - Sunday 22 July 2007M People, the clubland favourites that went on to become one of the most successful UK dance acts ever, appeared at four picturesque forest locations this summer as part of the Forestry Commission’s annual ‘Forest Tour’. After support band Cicada had got the crowd dancing M People took to the stage. As always Heather's amazing voice had no difficulty filling the arena as the band belted out club classics including 'how Can I Love You More' and 'One night In Heaven.'
