Bentley Community Woodland is a 93 hectare site with a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees with a unique 12 hectare wetland. This picturesque 99 hectare woodland is rapidly developing into one of the most attractive wildlife sites in the region. The 58 hectare of countryside at Cudworth Common is a great place to get away from it all and soak up peace and nature. The 36 hectare site is popular with bird watchers and has a purpose built hide. This wetland area should not be missed, it has a fantastic range of wildlife. Kiveton has remarkable diversity on it's 53 hectare site and features its own amphitheatre for community events and performances. Phoenix Park incorporating Thunscoe Community WoodlandThis 66 hectare site is well known locally for its sculpture park and climbing wall has wonderful views towards the Peak District. An ideal venue for mountain biking and strenuous walking due to its rugged terrain. Wombwell Wood is a wonderful mature broadleaf woodland, with a range of criss crossing paths.
