Please follow on site signage with regard to access to the Information Point

Weekdays, weekends and school hols 09:00 - 19:00.

The Café, Pantry and Ice cream Parlour are managed by Churchill Catering Ltd.

The Cafe is open everyday 09:00 - 17:00

Breakfast served 09:00 - 11:30 and Lunch 12:00 - 15:00

The Pantry is open subject to demand.

Ice Cream Parlour is open subject to demand.

There is a site entry fee payable for all vehicles using the site.

All open!  Please note that due to another piece of new and exciting play equipment being installed there is some contruction activity in and around the play area.  Please watch this space for when the new equipment will be open!

There are 3 courses to choose from short, medium and long. Maps are available to purchase from the information point.

Open Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00 (Last cycle hire 16.00)

Weekends and School Holidays 09:00 - 18:00 (Last cycle hire 17:00)

Currently there is a minor diversion on the Poacher trail, please go to the Information point for further details

Walking trails

Please note that due to harvesting works lorries will be crossing Fire Roads 10, 12 and 14 within the Forest. The Beech and Fir trails occassionally cross or share these roads so please take care when walking and keep dogs on leads or within a metre from you. 

Beech (pink) - approx 5km

Fir (yellow) - approx 5km

Pine (white) - approx 1.5km

Nature (brown) - approx 1.5km

Loved the new lime Burner trail. For a competent junior cyclist this was amazing fun. Not for anyone not used to off roading on bikes as quite rightly adult riders come through quite quickly.
