Children's parties

 

There are a whole range of options for children’s parties at Alice Holt. These are designed to suit different age groups and budgets. You can prepare your own party food and bring it with you or you can ask the friendly staff at the Forest Food Cafe to do the work for you.

Option 1: Classroom/ Marquee hire

Hire the classroom and/ or marquee for running your own event for 4 hours. Barbecues are permitted at the classroom site.

Classroom facilities include: toilets and a small kitchen with a kettle and a fridge.

(Hirers are responsible for cleaning, removal of rubbish and replacement of furniture)

Classroom: £50

Marquee only (no access to facilities): £10

Option 2: Ranger-led party

One of the Park’s education team will take the children for 1.5 hours to do the following:

Age 6+: Fun and Games Party. A range of activities on the meadow and in the woods which could include: minibeast hunt, blindfold trail, pond dipping.

Age 8+: Den Building Party. Building a shelter in the woods out of only natural materials

Price: £85 including classroom hire

Price: £60 for ranger only

Please note:

The maximum number of children in the party is 20 (14 for pond dipping) for ranger-led parties

There must be a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 5 children for ranger-led parties

Option 3: Forestry Adventure (Age 8+)

Choose up to 3 of the following activities: archery, shooting, climbing, crate building, inflatable fun. Maximum of 8 children for 1.5 hours.
