Lunchtime challenge

 

We challenge you, your class and accompanying adults to bring a waste-free lunch when you visit.  We have boxes for you to sort any waste into including raw compost waste, cooked food for the birds, paper and tin foil.  .

Reduce the amount of food waste by packing just the right amount of food so that you eat it all and have nothing left over.

Reduce the amount of waste packaging by putting home prepared food in reusable plastic containers.

Reuse plastic drink bottles many times rather than throwing them away after one drink.

Recycle packaging such as paper bags, kitchen paper and tin foil.
