Harvesting at Bedgebury

A John Deere 1470D wheeled harvester in operation in a stand of Scots pine.

New harvesting operations are about to start in Bedgebury Forest.

Harvesting will start on 15th October 2008 and is scheduled to run for 2-3 weeks (all being well).

The Singletrack mountain bike trail will be diverted around the Quarry and Brick Kiln Cottages and safety signs will be put up.

Disruption should be minimal, but please look out for timber lorries travelling through the forest.
