A major free family event for the Highlands!

The Touchwood Festival with the Scottish Woodfair took place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd June at the Highland Football Academy in Dingwall, featuring:

  • Tree climbing
  • Archery
  • Woodcraft
  • Monster forestry machines
  • Mountain biking displays

plus an outdoor refreshment area with live music for the grown-ups and story tellers for the kids.

Saturday 1st June, featured one-day-only Touchwood prize draws. There was the chance to win a ride in a Snowman Rally Car and a family ticket to this year’s Mountain Bike World Championships in Fort William.

The Touchwood Festival is part of Highland 2007 - Scotland's year long celebration of Highland Culture.
