Community Facility

 

The HRSG have looked at various local village halls and facilities and have established that with the decline of so many rural shops, post offices and halls a facility is needed that can be flexible and sustainable enough to incorporate a business by day, perhaps responding to the needs of the newly established tourist bike trail, as well as being able to double as a meeting place in the evening for the community’s needs.

The proposals for this have established a need for flexibility to facilitate multi-use and sustainability, e.g. a kitchen to cater for events and perhaps a café to serve the village as well as visitors.
