At Westonbirt we try to offer programmes that respond to your needs and those of your students. To this end we offer a variety of programme types to suit all group sizes and time commitments. These include:

Full-day Programmes (maximum 70 students)

Our most comprehensive programme. We spend the entire day with your class and lead all the activities. Full-day programmes usually consist of an introductory talk followed by hands-on activities and games around the arboretum to reinforce particular learning objectives.

Half-day Programmes (maximum 140 students)

This option aims to cater for large groups as well as offering flexibility to groups with limited time. Groups spend either the morning or the afternoon with one of our staff. The exact content of your programme will depend on your requirements – please contact the Education Manager.

Illustrated Talks

We also provide an illustrated talks programme on a variety of topics. These add focus to independent activities and act as springboards to deeper student understanding of the arboretum, and its inhabitants.
