Commemorations
Adopt a Tree
Apart from being a collection of internationally important trees, Westonbirt Arboretum is close to many peoples hearts. Generations of families have spent time with their loved ones in the arboretum and so they wish to adopt a tree to commemorate. It might be a birth, death, marriage or some other distinctive time.
This is how it works. The Curator periodically selects trees of differing age, species and location, that he considers suitable for adoption. When you have made your choice from this list, a label will be attached, marking that this tree has been adopted by you. The cost of adopting a tree is currently £300, which helps towards the management of Westonbirt's tree collection. If you wish to adopt a tree contact sally.day@forestry.gsi.gov.uk or telephone 01666 881229
