The Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum
The Friends of Westonbirt (Registered Charity number 293190) was founded in 1985 to support Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, in education and research. The Friends also encourage an appreciation of trees, woodlands and the environment and help the Forestry Commission in their management of the arboretum. There are currently over 21,000 members to date and this is increasing annually. Benefits Include: - FREE admission daily to the Arboretum (During some events, access to certain areas may be restricted).
- FREE admission for children aged 18 or under, when accompanied by a parent member.
FREE subscription to 'The Westonbirt Magazine' - a quarterly publication full of news, fascin ating articles and useful information. - FREE monthly walks or talks exclusively for friends.
FREE entry to the Festival of The Tree, exhibitions in The Great Oak Hall, invitations to events, lectures and visits. - FREE entry to The Enchanted Christmas, ONE of the first three Fridays. Each member MUST bring their membership card - there will be no admission without).
FREE admission to other partner gardens (subject to review or cancellation).

"Concession" is defined as 60 years of age and over, or registered disabled. *Member's children under 18 years of age, accompanied by members are admitted without charge. 2009 Membership available now (expires 31 Jan 2010) Join at the Great Oak Hall (10am-4pm) or pick up an application form from the Forest Shop, Plant Centre, Maples or Admissions.
