Signature Events at Westonbirt Arboretum 2008
Festival of The Tree 2008‘Sculptree’ & 'Family Fun' Monday 18 to Monday 25 August 9am - 5pm
Sculptree - watch throughout the week as twelve world - class wood sculptors transform tree trunks into stunning art forms, see designs. Grand Auction on Bank Holiday Monday at 3pm. Gallery sales throughout the week. Family fun - discover what's in the woods with William Woodworm's trail. Have a pow-wow in the tipi village, play on the traditional wooden funfair rides and create tree inspired art.
‘Woodcraft Exhibition’ from Friday 22nd to Monday 25th This woodcraft exhibition has over 150 stands selling tools, wood and wonderful wood products, from bowls to garden art. Demonstrations, master classes and advice from renowned experts. Admission: Adult £8, Concession £7, Child £3.
 Enchanted Christmas 2008
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from 28 November to 21 December.Trail opens 5pm Last entry to carpark 7.15 for last entry to the trail 7.30pm Take a walk through the famous Enchanted Wood and see The National Arboretum lit up at night. See Father Christmas plus lots of other festive excitement - carols from local choirs and bands, roast chestnuts and mulled wine plus a gift shop selling some fantastic gifts and decorations. Now in its 12th year this event is attended by around 30,000 people each year. A great event for all ages, especially families. Admission prices. Adults £7 Conc. £6 Child £3.
Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February 2008, 10am - 4pm- Over 4,000 people attend this exciting weekend of arena displays, a doggy trail, exhibitors and traders selling everything you might need for your dog. Why not bring your dog along and enter him (or her) into the regional heat of SCRUFFT’s - you could find yourself at the national final in London in the summer! Please note you can only register for Scrufft's on Sunday.
