Horse riding in North East England
 

Where better to exercise your horse than the beautiful and tranquil forests in the Northeast? The forest road network across the region provides dozens of miles of traffic-free riding.

At both Chopwell Woodland Park and Hamsterley Forest, Horse Riding Associations have been set up by local riders to promote responsible horse riding, organise events and to improve facilities for riders within their respective forests.
